120 hours later… the boat launches!
p:ear wants to give a huge shout out to all of the donors who helped with craft the Irish Curragh that was auctioned off at p:earblossoms Port in the Storm, raising $8,000 for p:ear programs. Thank you to Steve Carrigg owner of Hazelwood Boats, for providing his expertise and phenomenal teaching skills, to Zena Forrest Products for providing the sustainably and locally cut timber that went into the production of the currach; and most importantly the 22 youth who spent over 120 hours from start to finish on this beautiful boat.
