Pear Builds Positive Relationships with Homeless and Transitional Youth

Volunteer Staff

  • Melissa Delzio

As a volunteer designer for p:ear Melissa has been working to develop and strengthen their brand and develop creative strategy. As an independent graphic designer, living in Portland, Oregon, she has over seven years of experience designing printed and interactive experiences for international and local consumer brands alike.

  • Trent Finlay

Trent was born in Portland and adopted into the same family as his biological half-sister by pure coincidence. Trent spent his formative years in Centralia, Washington learning to play a plethora of musical instruments and refining an ear for audio production. After college, he moved back to Portland with his indie-rock band, Wester Daywick.

Trent jumped head-first into the non-profit world of fundraising, event planning and currently manages the social media for KZME Radiop:ear and various local organizations. When not utilizing his skills in graphic design, audio/video production, online communications and happen-making to raise excitement and awareness for his projects, he enjoys encouraging his girlfriend’s kids to pick up after themselves and is a die-hard fan of kittens.

  • Diana Plummer

I have been assisting p:ear’s lunch program since its inception ten years ago.

The many reminder calls that I make are not only to the restaurateurs but also to myself-making me aware of how interdependent we are as a society and how much there is to learn from giving and receiving.

May the ever growing branches of the p:ear tree provide a place of safety, nurturance and inspiration for all.
