Big plans for the p:ear kitchen!

Pear - Creatively Mentoring Homeless Youth
The Boeing Portland Employee Community Fund generously awarded p:ear a $20,000 grant to update the p:ear kitchen. Serving nearly 60 hungry  youth each day, the p:ear kitchen and pantry are solely in need of several updates to increase efficiency and continue meeting the daily need (see how excited kitchen coordinator Lindsey is in the picture above!)
Boeing Portland ECF is thrilled to be part of such a phenomenal project that is making a huge impact on the community.
The mission of Employee Community Fund (ECF) aligns with the mission of P:EAR as the ECF mission statement is to provide financial assistance to nonprofit health and human service organizations, primarily in the communities of Boeing Portland Employees. P:EAR is a great match for ECF as their mission is to strengthen the lives of homeless youth and create opportunities for young people to grow intellectually, and engage in meaningful interactions within the larger community of Portland.
