Celebrate Portland’s Creative Culture at the Tenth Annual WORKS benefiting p:ear

Pear - Creatively Mentoring Homeless Youth

On Friday, October 23rd, Intown Church and Antler Gallery will present the tenth annual Works, an event celebrating the artists, musicians, crafters and culinary wizards who contribute to the vibrant creative community in our city.

The fundamental reason driving this long-running event is our delight over living in a city where we are surrounded by a community that pursues their creative passions. Portland is enhanced immeasurably by the people who choose to live here and share their creativity with us.

Works takes place amidst the gothic atmosphere of one of Portland’s historic landmark buildings, The Old Church

Local bands EyelidsSama Dams, and singer-songwriter Haley Heynderickx will provide an evening of live music in the beautifully ornate sanctuary. The adjoining reception hall hosts a one-night exhibition of visual artists, curated by the Alberta Arts District’s Antler Gallery, and booths where visitors can buy handmade crafts by various Portland makers.

In addition to the audio/visual cornucopia we will be serving locally sourced food prepared by chef and caterer Berkley Braden of Chef Berk and great beer from Breakside Brewery, as well as cold brew from Stumptown!

A percentage of the proceeds will benefit p:ear!

When: Friday, October 23, 20157-11 pm

Where: The Old Church (Downtown, SW 11th Avenue & Clay St.)
