p:earblossoms recap and thank you!

Pear - Creatively Mentoring Homeless Youth
Thank you to all who made our 10th annual fundraiser, p:earblossoms X -STORY, a rousing success!  p:ear’s long story of success with Portland’s homeless youth has been written by many people – people just like you – who have stepped forward to create a community of support raising about $166,000 for p:ear’s incredible programs and services!
Below you’ll find a list of the people and businesses that made p:earblossoms possible, allowing the following growth of our programs over the next year:
– GED graduation party
– theatre workshop with performance at December 1st Thursday
– 30% increase in recreational outings
– 3 semesters of p:ear barista school
By participation in our fundraisers and events, you are investing in the mental and physical health of these youth.  To continue to meet these needs, p:ear is gathering ingenious and energetic folks to create new engagement platforms.  STAY POSTED!  Fan p:ear on Facebook or read our monthly e-newsletter for behind the scenes programmatic updates and information about upcoming music shows, dinners and other events!
