Pear - Creatively Mentoring Homeless Youth

Abstracted from the iconic tale of Jekyll and Hyde, HYDE is a new piece of dance/theater that is tender, funny, alarming and compelling. HYDE uses the language of the body in tandem with sound, vocalization, costume and video projection to create a recognizable and visceral piece about the human experience.

HYDE is created by choreographer/director Tracy Broyles with dancers Stephanie Lanckton, Mark Kline, Niko Thomas, Rebecca Harrison, Douglas Allen; musicians Adrian Hutapea and Lisa DeGrace, videographer Stephen Miller, lighting designer Vanessa Pearl Janson, and costume designer Elodie Massa Allen

HYDE is supported by a project grant from RACC  and many generous individual donors. HYDE is also partnering with p:ear to create continued support for art programs for transitional youth by providing a “cup-of-coffee” donation drive at the door. (Suggested is $3, or however much you might normally spend on a latte…)

HYDE will be performed at Studio 2 @ Zoomtopia (810 SE Belmont)
FRIDAY and SATURDAY at 8:00 pm SUNDAY at 2:00 pm
2/27, 2/28, 3/1 and 3/6, 3/7 and 3/8
